Winter Show

Hi everyone,  Thank you all for coming to our show yesterday. We really hope you enjoyed it. Here are some photos from the show. Winter Show

Hi everyone,  I sent home a note today with your child's lines for the play. Please go over these lines as often as you can so the children learn them off.  Homework is finished now until after the Christmas break.  Have a great weekend,  Becky :-) 

Homework

Homework 4th - 8th December (Last week of homework before Christmas Holidays:-))  Monday/Tuesday Revise sounds and actions for c/k, e,h,r,m,d. Listen to Jolly Phonics songs (YouTube) Blending game (using roll and read side with pictures) You will need: blending mat, roll and read sheet, dice, whiteboard marker. Step 1: Roll the dice. Step 2: Find the corresponding word on the roll and read sheet that matches the number on the dice. Step 3: Blend each sound to make the word. Step 4: Ask your child to clap, stomp, slide, pound and jump the sounds to blend the word. (We will have practiced these techniques in school) Step 5: Write the word on the blending mat using the white board marker and blend. Step 6: Roll the dice and start the game again. Learn to recognise new tricky word 'was' and revise other tricky words. (See homework helpers for suggested activities) Wednesday/Thursday Revise sounds and actions for c/k, e,h,r,m,d.
