Our theme for this week and next week is the Emergency Services. Our role-play area is the Garda Station. We have been creating disguises in our Arts and Crafts station. Our Bee-Bot has been helping people who might need the Emergency Services and in our Small World station we have been building Garda Stations and Fire Stations.

Here are some more photos of Science Week. Kinsealy Pet Store came to visit, we went to Brian's Class and Maria's Class to look at their science projects and we did Bee-Bot stations with some parents. We had so much fun!

Learn Together Scrapbook

Hi all,  I sent home the Learn Together Scrapbooks today. There is a sheet stuck on the inside cover listing what we have covered so far this year.  Can you please have a look through the scrapbook, sign the inside cover and return the scrapbooks tomorrow? Thanks a million,  Becky :-) Also the children took home all of their work they have done since September today. This booklet of work can stay at home.

This week is Science Week. We had very cute visitors in our classroom yesterday, Philomena and Marcus the hedgehogs.  Today, 5th class did a slime making demonstration for our class. This was lots of fun.

Hi everyone,  It was great to see everybody today after the break. I hope you all enjoyed the mid-term. Here is the homework for this week. It is different to previous homework so please read carefully. Please stick to the homework schedule for this week and do not skip ahead. We will be introducing blending on Tuesday and Wednesday so please do not start blending activities until Wednesday. Blending takes time for children to grasp so don’t worry if it doesn’t click straight away, we’ll get there! Monday Please complete revision sheet (s,a,t,i,p,n) entitled Monday 6 th November. Learn to recognise new tricky word ‘I’ and revise other tricky words.
